The business of Halloween is booming, experts said. And not just in Greenville where it’s enthusiastically celebrated by adults at private parties and downtown bars.
In a national survey, 68 percent of people said they planned to celebrate Halloween, up from last year’s 63 percent.
The National Retail Federation also reported that the average consumer planned to spend $72 for candy, costumes and decorations, compared to last year’s average of $66.
