A former motorcycle mechanic turned retired vice president for Deutsche Bank said he will address North Carolina’s invisible issues if elected the state’s lieutenant governor.
Rep. Dale Folwell, R-Forsyth, speaker pro tem for the state House, is one of four people vying for the state’s second highest office.
He spent Tuesday in Greenville talking with local manufacturers and individuals before speaking at a Pitt County Republican Party meeting.

That part is correct
"He said that while state law has outlawed gay marriage since the 1990s"
The part about it already being against the law is correct.
The part about how this will end domestic partnerships for straight couples in the municipalities that chosen to offer them (an example of the state considering trampling on local people trying to govern themselves), and how it may end domestic violence protections for any unmarried couple in the state (as it did in Ohio after a similarly-poorly-worded amendment passed) gets left out too often.
