Mug sale: Feat of clay

Maria Modlin, Samantha Clarke and Mariah-Lee Ross, from left, look through the wide array of hand-made mugs during East Carolina University Ceramics Guild Mug Sale held Wednesday at the main entrance of the Jenkins Fine Art Building on the East Carolina University campus.

The Ceramics Guild is a student-run organization that organizes workshops, brings in visiting artists and arranges trips to conferences, shows and fundraisers for guild members. Periodic pottery sales, such as Wednesday’s, help fund these various projects and benefit the ongoing ceramics work at ECU.
