The drummer of local country-rock band has pulled through a second surgery for gunshot wounds he suffered during a robbery attempt outside South Carolina nightclub, a spokesman for the group said Wednesday.
Scott Thomas, a member of the four-man band Parmalee, will probably have to undergo at least one more surgery, said Dave Rose of Deep South Entertainment, the group's spokesman.
“Scott pulled through surgery and is in recovery at this time. We again appreciate all of you. Please keep Scott and the band in your prayers. We love and appreciate all of you,” the group said in a statement released at 11:15 a.m. Wednesday.
