Greenville police are investigating a hit-and-run collision between a bicycle and a motor vehicle Monday at Spruce and Myrtle streets. A 50-year-old male sustained moderate injuries. The police provided no description of the vehicle or driver. The report did not indicate how the collision occurred.

Woman stabbed, man arrested

Officers arrested a Greenville man Monday after he reportedly stabbed and seriously injured a 27-year-old woman with a knife at a location in the 2200 block of Hemby Lane.

Kenneth Wayne Wilson, 39, of 626 S. Memorial Drive, was charged with four felony counts of assault inflicting serious bodily injury. Wilson was held at the Pitt County Detention Center on a $25,000 bond.

Police did not indicate Wilson's relationship to the woman, and no details about the incident were provided.

Woman assaulted; man arrested

Officers responded to a report that a woman was assaulted and extorted by a man Monday at his residence at University Suites.

Police did not identify the woman or provide any information about the extent of her injuries. No details about the alleged extortion were provided.

Christian Yves Mario Denard, 23, 2245 University Suites Drive, was arrested and charged with misdemeanor assault on a female and felony extortion.

Denard was held without bond at the Pitt County Detention Center.

Gun, computer stolen from home

Officers are investigating a report that someone entered an unlocked rear window of a 23-year-old man's home Monday in the 700 block of East Fifth Street and stole a laptop valued at $400 and a Mossberg 12-gauge shotgun.

Break-in, electronics stolen

Someone reportedly broke into a couple's home Monday in the 1100 block of B's Barbecue Road and stole a laptop valued at $1,000, a television valued at $600 and a video game console and games valued at $400.

Electronics stolen from vehicle

Officers responded to a report that someone broke into a 31-year-old woman's SUV at her home Monday in the 2600 block of Mulberry Lane and stole a Garmin GPS unit valued at $260, an MP3 player and adapter valued at $265, and a phone charger valued at $40.

Theft reported at drugstore

An employee of Rite Aid at 2101 Stantonsburg Road reported that someone stole assorted hygiene products, perfume and video games valued at $1,000 from the store Monday.

Rifle, scope stolen from vehicle

Officers investigated a report that someone broke into 22-year-old man's pickup truck Friday in the 1900 block of Smythewyck Drive and stole a Remington model 700 .270 caliber rifle with a scope valued at $400.

Woman reports assault at home

Pitt County deputies are investigating a report that an acquaintance assaulted a 36-year-old woman with a knife at her home Saturday on Gardenia Street in Greenville, causing severe lacerations.

Home break-in, larceny

Deputies responded to a report that someone broke into a 22-year-old man's home Tuesday in the 1300 block of Arrowhead Drive in Greenville and stole a stereo system and CD player valued at $700.

Television stolen from home

Deputies investigated a report that someone broke into a 35-year-old woman's home Monday in the 1600 block of Lennon Street in Greenville and stole a television valued at $800.
