Kedron Devon Lyons, 20, 605 B. E. Third St., possession of firearm by a felon, pleaded not guilty, verdict guilty, 15-18 months Department of Correction, pay cost and lawyer.

Adam Christopher Simpkins, 24, 301 Washington St., Washington, N.C., two counts sell cocaine, pleaded guilty, 16-20 months Department of Correction, begins Aug. 14 at 9 a.m.; possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine, pleaded guilty, 10-12 months Department of Correction at expiration of previous sentence, suspended, 30 months probation, nine months intensive, GED within 12 months, obtain job within 90 days, pay cost, lawyer, fine, and restitution.

Randolph King, 50, 344 Grimes St., Winterville, driving while impaired, pleaded guilty, six months Department of Correction, suspended, 12 months probation, 72 hours community service within 180 days, surrender driver's license.

Joe Antawan Brinson, 26, Lot 19 Dante Lane, Bethel, assault on a government official, pleaded not guilty, verdict guilty, 60 days Pitt County Detention Center, pay cost and lawyer; intoxicated and disruptive, pleaded not guilty, verdict not guilty; injury to personal property, pleaded not guilty, dismissed; open container of alcohol violation, pleaded not guilty, verdict not guilty; habitual misdemeanor assault, pleaded not guilty, verdict not guilty.

Joseph Michael Kincer, 59, 107 Chesire Drive, driving while impaired, pleaded guilty, 30 days Department of Correction, suspended, 12 months probation, surrender driver's license, 24 hours community service, pay cost and fine.

Stephanie Hill, 37, 4629 Tar St., Grimesland, breaking and/or entering, felony larceny, cases voluntarily dismissed.

Roberto Rivera, 46, 961 Honolulu Road, Grifton, misdemeanor larceny, pleaded guilty, 120 days Department of Correction, suspended, 30 months probation, pay restitution and fine; injury to personal property, pleaded guilty, 120 days Department of Correction at expiration of previous sentence, suspended, 30 months probation.

Robert Edward Neuhoff Jr., 48, 4815 Kingston Pike Apt. 106, Knoxville, Tenn., possession of an open container/consuming alcohol in a passenger area, pleaded not responsible, verdict responsible, pay cost and fine.

Justin Barnes, 20, 113 A Howard Circle, common law robbery, pleaded guilty, 13-16 months Department of Correction, housed at Evergreen facility; possession of firearm by a felon, pleaded guilty, 13-16 months Department of Correction at expiration of previous sentence, pay cost, lawyer and restitution.
