Greenville police are searching for three suspects connected to multiple vehicle break-ins Tuesday occurring in apartment complexes along Arlington Boulevard.
Vehicles parked in areas on Mulberry Lane, Wimbledon Drive, Exchange Drive and Tara Court were entered by breaking the car windows, according to a news release issued Wednesday. Thirteen incidents were reported to police between the hours of 6:38 a.m. and 1:53 p.m.
GPS units, MP3 players, credit cards, and other small items were taken, the news release said. Credit cards taken in the thefts were used in Wilson.
Detectives believe the crimes were committed by a group of three individuals and are requesting assistance in identifying and locating them.
Surveillance photographs captured the suspects and a suspect vehicle, the release said. The vehicle is believed to be a silver or gray Saturn with a large decal in the back window.

E.B. Aycock teacher assaulted by student
A 36-year-old teacher suffered minor injuries Friday when she was assaulted by a student shortly before noon Friday at E.B. Aycock Middle School, 1325 Red Banks Road.
A Greenville Police Department report stated a juvenile was arrested Monday and charged with assault on a school teacher and disorderly conduct.
The police department provided no additional information.
According to Pitt County Schools spokeswoman Heather Mayo, the incident involved an 11-year-old, sixth grade boy, and happened shortly after lunch. Mayo said the teacher who was assaulted remained at school the rest of the day.
She said releasing additional information about the incident “would be a violation of the student's rights under federal law.”
Robbery attempt outside Burger King
Greenville police investigated a report that a 19-year-old man was the victim of an attempted armed robbery shortly after 2 a.m. Wednesday at Burger King, 3016 E. 10th St., according to a police department report.
The young man was threatened with a non-automatic firearm but the exact make wasn't provided. No injuries were reported and no additional information was provided. The report listed the case as inactive.
Thefts reported
Greenville police responded to a report that a firearm valued at $2,000, ammunition valued at $200 and a navigational system valued at $400 were stolen early Friday from a house in the 1600 block of Beaumont Drive.
Also reported:
Two laptops valued at $4,000 and a DVD player valued at $60 were reported stolen Oct. 28 or Oct. 29 from a house in the 300 block of Summit Street. The report listed the case as inactive.
A television and camera valued at $550 were reported stolen Tuesday from a residence in the 200 block of Rollins Drive.
A laptop valued at $750 was reported stolen Saturday or Sunday from the 700 block of East Fifth Street.
Greenville police responded to a report that an object valued at $900 was stolen sometime between Friday and Monday from 504 Red Banks Road. Police didn't identify what the object was in the report.
Vehicles stolen
A Nissan Altima valued at $12,000 was reported stolen Saturday from the intersection of East 10th and Evans streets. The report was filed Monday.
It was also reported that a Cadillac valued at $14,560 was reported stolen sometime between Saturday and Monday from the 4500 block of County Home Road.
Prosecution declined
Greenville police responded to a report that a 21-year-old woman was assaulted with a knife shortly before 1 p.m. Tuesday at her residence in the 1300 block of South Greene Street. No injuries were reported and prosecution was declined.

Theft from storage site
Pitt County deputies investigated a report that someone stole assorted building materials valued at $1,803 from a commercial storage site Tuesday in the 800 block of West Star Street in Greenville.
Car break-in, larceny
Someone reportedly broke into a 22-year-old man's vehicle at his home Tuesday in the 1300 block of Arrowhead Drive and stole stereo equipment valued at $700.
