Budget cuts in education and for community organizations are some of the adjustments being recommended to make up for revenue shortfalls in Pitt County’s budget.
The Pitt County Board of Commissioners will review these proposals and other budget-cutting recommendations during today’s 9 a.m. meeting.
County staff predicts a $1.2 million shortfall in revenues.
