Incoming members on the Pitt County Board of Education are issuing mixed reviews of the latest redistricting maps recommended by the district's administration.
The district is redrawing attendance lines for 11 elementary schools and three middle schools for next school year. Superintendent Beverly Reep presented one elementary school map and one middle school map recommended by her staff to the Board of Education at its meeting Monday night at Wahl-Coates Elementary School.
