A pair of changes to a proposed middle school plan would swap several neighborhoods between E.B. Aycock and C.M. Eppes middle schools in Greenville.
Pitt County Schools on Friday released two new proposals that grew out of a Monday public hearing on the redistricting process. The Board of Education is scheduled to vote Monday on new lines for 11 elementary schools and three middle schools for the 2010-11 school year.
Suggested adjustments to the recommended middle school map offered by Superintendent Beverly Reep on Nov. 1 would not have a significant effect on capacity, reading proficiency or demographics. They do move several neighborhoods.
