The latest map in the Pitt County Schools redistricting effort will be released by Friday.
The map will be a minor update to the middle school map officially recommended by administration at the Nov. 1 school board meeting. Click here to see the recommended plans and related statistics and other proposals studied during the process.
The revision will be posted there as well once it is ready. The Board of Education plans to approve a final redistricting plan at its next meeting on Monday at South Central High School at 7 p.m. It will consider the superintendent's recommendation but does not have to approve it.
