A public hearing is set for Monday night as the ongoing Pitt County Schools redistricting process draws to a close.
The formal hearing will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the auditorium of J.H. Rose High School. It will allow citizens a chance to comment on maps that will redraw attendance lines for 11 elementary schools and three middle schools for next school year. Click here for maps and more information.
Monday's meeting is the last gathering of all involved in the process before the Board of Education is set to make its final decision at its Nov. 15 meeting.
