Awards Day will be held Friday. The assembly for fourth and fifth grades will begin at 8 a.m., followed by the kindergarten and first grade assembly at 9 a.m. and the assembly for second and third graders at 10 a.m.

The PTA penny war begins Monday.

A Title 1 breakfast for parents of students in kindergarten through second grade will be held at 8:30 a.m. Feb. 2. The program will be titled “Comprehension/Fluency.”

The PTA will have a fundraising night at Texas Roadhouse, 720 Greenville Blvd., S.W., from 4 p.m. until closing on Feb. 2.

A School Improvement Team meeting will be held at 2:45 p.m. today.
