A dog who just a few months ago was abandoned and starving in a warehouse will be heading to Kenya to search for explosives on Tuesday.
Mike Bullock found a young pit bull tied up in a warehouse in March. The starving dog was about 8-9 months old. Bullock took him home, named him Benny and began to nurse him back to health.
Bullock is used to dealing with dogs because he owns Bullock’s Canine Service, which specializes in police K-9 training and police dog training courses. He said he could not leave Benny in the warehouse, but he was not planning on keeping or training him.
