West Greenville residents got a preview Tuesday of Greenville Recreation and Parks' latest plan to develop a neighborhood “Dream Park” at an information and idea exchange held at Mt. Calvary Freewill Baptist Church.
The park would be bordered by Greenville Community Shelter on the east side, Skinner Street on the west, Myrtle Street to the north and Chestnut Street to the south. It would occupy land adjacent to the American Legion Hall and be near churches and single-family homes.
There are several use options from which neighborhood residents will be able to choose to modify his initial drawing, park planner LeMarco Morrison said.
