Sadie Saulter Elementary School will celebrate its history and future in a weekend ceremony as its final year as a K-5 school draws to a close.
School staff will host “A Celebration of Sadie Saulter” on Saturday from 2-4 p.m. in the school cafeteria.
Next academic year Sadie Saulter will open as a pre-K and special program center with administrative offices. The building is gaining a 22-classroom addition. The conversion is another step in the 100-year history of the school at the corner of Fleming and Tyson streets in Greenville.
