The East Carolina University Board of Trustees meets today and Wednesday at the UNC Coastal Studies Institute in Manteo for its once every four-year retreat.
The retreat begins at 2:15 p.m. with an afternoon planning session with University of North Carolina system President Thomas Ross. Wednesday will include a morning strategy session and a working lunch, ending with an afternoon brainstorming session from 1-3 p.m.
Steve Duncan, assistant vice chancellor for administration and finance, said the retreat will focus on matching ECU’s future to that of the wider UNC system.
