State Rep. Brian Brown was a featured speaker at the United Way of Pitt County’s Legislative Briefing on Tuesday at the Willis Building. “Building a Stronger North Carolina” was led by staff from the United Way of North Carolina and the Budget & Tax Center — a project of the N.C. Justice Center.

The United Way of North Carolina has held similar community discussions in Buncombe, Catawba, Forsyth, Guilford, Mecklenburg, New Hanover, Orange and Wake counties.
