Members of Greenville's Hindu Temple on East 14th Street sifted through debris Tuesday after vandals broke through a window and destroyed a shrine and altar.
A preliminary walk through the temple indicated that nothing was stolen, including several electronics devices and two televisions, said Prem Seghal and Vasant Pandya, members of the temple's executive committee.
“I came here just after noon to raise the temperature for an evening dance class that was scheduled,” Seghal said. “I was removing my shoes to do my work when I saw the broken glass on the floor.”
