The search continued late on Tuesday for a suspect in the robbery of a Wells Fargo bank in Rocky Mount.

A masked man entered the bank at 140 Benvenue Road about 2 p.m., police officials said, He indicated he had a weapon, robbed the bank and escaped. Police have not said what was stolen.
