Elementary and middle school students in Pitt County can breathe a sigh of relief now that their year-end tests are mostly done, but for high school students testing is just getting started.
End-of-grade (EOG) tests for third- through eighth-grade students finished last week. End-of-course (EOC) tests for ninth- through 12th-graders will start Friday.
“Things went pretty well,” testing director David Jenkins said Tuesday. “Students, parents and schools were ready to go.”
