A man driving on Hooker Road about 6:30 p.m. on Friday was shot several times and crashed, according to a Greenville Police Department report.

Kevin Copeland, 23, of Greenville sustained non-life-threatening injuries during the incident in the 1400 block of Hooker Road, a news release issued late Friday said. His car crashed at Hooker Road and Horseshoe Drive.

He was transported to Pitt County Memorial Hospital.
