Former Gov. Mitt Romney has provably lied 805 times from January through mid-October, according to a list kept by e-pamphleteer Steve Benen. His blog “Chronicling Mitt’s mendacity” shines the antiseptic light of provable, verifiable truth — the facts — on Romney’s lies to show them up as, well, lies.
You know what lying is. We all do it from time to time. It’s a human thing.

Lies and lies
Unfortunately most pols say things that are fabrications, half-truths, and little fibs. Part of the problem for presidents, much of what they say they are going to do requires Congressional action. The GOP does exactly as Wall Street andBig Energy tells them. The Dems do what the Unions tell them. Note: Richard Burr as a Rep and now as Senator has never provided representation for NC. He is wholly owned by Wall Street--just one classic example.
With Obama, lies or not,I know what I am getting. But Romney is something else. Is he pro-life or pro-choice? He once said he would never waiver from protecting a woman's right to choose. Now he says he would de-fund Planned Parenthood. He says he would repeal the GOP-designed Obama-passed Affordable Care Act, then says he would keep key portions, then his campaign staff says he didn't mean that. So what actually IS his position? He says he is going to reduce the debt, but what bits he has in his budget plans will blow up the debt worse than Obama. And on and on. We suffered through 8 years with a President who was only there for show. Romney has no plans, economic or foreign, and is running for show.
I don't know anyone voting for Romney. I know lots who are voting against Obama. No matter who wins, we all will lose. A very sad state of affairs.

Mitt Romney is simply taking a page out of the Democrat elections playbook. He may even be forced to lie to just compete with the most corrupt administration in history and a campaign that has nothing but liars workiing in it and the biggest liar of all in Barack Obama.
But what this article and many others just like this one has in common is that the only thing Obama has to offer to the American people are attacks on Romney. Obama has no plan going forward. Raising taxes is not a plan and it will not help the unemployed find work.

Are you drinking the leftist Kool Aid? Everyone who has worked with Mitt Romney talks about his honesty. That includes people who worked with him at Bain, at the Olympics and as Govenor. Could they be wrong? Let me suggest that what you are referring to as lies are simply positions that you on the extreme left simply disagree. This is shameful! “As President, I will close Guantanamo, reject the Military Commissions Act and adhere to the Geneva Conventions. Our Constitution and our Uniform Code of Military Justice provide a framework for dealing with the terrorists,” says then-Sen. Obama.
Jan. 22, 2009:
Just two days after taking office, Obama signs the executive order directing the military to close Guantanamo Bay by January 2010. Says Obama:
“This is me following through on not just a commitment I made during the campaign, but I think an understanding that dates back to our founding fathers, that we are willing to observe core standards of conduct, not just when it’s easy, but also when it’s hard.”
But from what I understand Gitmo is still open, isn't it?

Is it Obama's fault or the Republican's. they had an absolute tis what over othe plan to move the detainees into the judicial system. As I recall they put up several bills to deny funding or otherwise prevent their movement. Meantime, Obama's team found the files on these people were a complete mess and much of the info was gained through torture and could never be used in a US court. So who is at fault?
