The coffee party has scheduled another seminar at 7 p.m. on Tuesday at the Unitarian Universalist church. This follows other events such as an education seminar and a Medical seminar, both of which attracted wide community support. The latest program will relate to the Constitution and will feature a highly respected constitutional expert, Carol Moore of the ECU history department.

The coffee party is attempting to bring educational events to Greenville partly to correct misinformation and irrelevancies supplied by the Tea Party. For example, the coffee party has no interest in the president's birth certificate.

A democracy, to function properly, must have a well-informed electorate and unfortunately there are too many unreliable assertions being made often by letter writers in this community.
