No one should ever accuse a local radio talk show host of being fair and balanced. His continuous and one-sided rants about the 1-cent education sale tax have become trite.

Did you know that the same priced item at a Greenville retail store costs more than at the same store in Washington? Why? Greenville has an added sales tax. Where’s the rant?

Gas is at an all-time high for this time of year. The gas tax has been raised not once, but twice this past year. It will be raised again in July. Where’s the rant? At least the above taxes are pay-as-you-go and everybody pays.
