Before jumping to conclusions, please check your facts. There were 9 students that graduated from Oakwood and all of them were white but this doesn't mean there are no children of other races at the school. In my child's grade there were 30 kids, 8 were black, 3 were Asian, and 2 were from Indian. There is plenty of diversity at Oakwood. Try going to one of the concerts and you'll how wonderful the school is.
I agree with you. Most of the times the one who is "calling" something racial shows racism themselves. You know when God looks down, He doesn't see the "colors" (black, white, red, blue, etc) and He doesn't see Rep or Dem, all He sees is Saved or Unsaved. <><
Although I am not an Oakwook parent and/or student, I am not sure how this shows racism. This is a private school, and they accept people of all races, if you are willing to pay the tuition. I think that was a really rude comment.
Can't wait to see the individual pictures of every public school graduate on scene around. After the prom debacle with AG, you would think you would learn your lesson.
Awesome photo of a guy taking a photo. Nice, that's one for the scrapbook. What would really be cool would be to have a photo of the guy taking the photo of the guy taking the photo. Automatic Pulitzer for photojournalism.
You have listed that Dr. Richard Eakin is the Chancellor for ECU - get your facts straight - he is the FORMER Chancellor for ECU, Dr. Steve Ballard is the Chancellor for ECU and has been since 2004!

I attended Oakwood before it included a High School. Congrats to the grads, and good luck in college.
