I may be biased, because I was a lineman myself, but someone keeps forgetting about that Fuller kid that blocked for Jamie Brewington and Timmy Moore. I think he was supposed to go to South Carolina. He was a joy to watch. Are any of the coaches still there that coached him? Speak up!

I would love see something about the "old Rose" High School. Like a pictorial history in the paper or on the website. Reflector could do it for all the high schools. Something like a visual history of Pitt County High Schools.

Award winning... they get an award for just showing up at those competitions, "Best Sequins" among others. Hate to bust a bubble, but Friday nights are not all about the band. Love the band, but please don't get too self important.

the rose band is terrible that is enough of a reason to not put them up there. so mr photographer thank you for sparing us the humiliation they bring to the football games!!!

congrats to rose high school. i just wish the smaller schools such as ayden grifton would receive just half of the publicity that rose receives. these kids deserve the same attention. go chargers.....

Wow, I guess the cheerleaders can get their picture in the paper but what about the Marching Rampants? They have swept two competitions the past two weekends with NO recognition, come on! Mr. Knight and that band work hard and didn't even get to play at half time due to the Hall of Fame induction,they could have at least had their pictures taken. Give credit where credit is due!!!

I appreciate these Scene Around features, but if you're going to put people's names in here, you should at least go to the trouble to get them right. It really isn't that hard. The guy in #2 is Jessie Taub, not "Paub", and the man in #45 is Jim Galloway, not "Dave". These kinds of mistakes are just silly.
