If Saturday’s win marked the end of a recent slump for the East Carolina baseball team, Sunday’s victory might have started a much different streak.

Dustin Harrington and the Pirates demolished Monmouth, 16-2, clinching the three-game series for ECU and leaving little doubt about the team’s penchant for power hitting.
