Another nail-biter for Pirates

The East Carolina baseball team might be running out of fingernails to bite, and it's still March.

But that doesn't mean the Pirates haven't been winning. Jack Reinheimer floated a game-winning single to left field in the bottom of the ninth inning on Wednesday night, securing a 5-4 triumph over visiting High Point.


It was the second straight day the Pirates claimed a one-run win, having broken a ninth inning tie at Campbell on Tuesday for a 3-2 win.
