The turnovers and missed shots came in bunches for the East Carolina’s women’s basketball team Thursday night.

Tulane took advantage, pulling away from the Pirates in the second half for a 63-49 win at Minges Coliseum.

The Green Wave put together a pair of dominating runs and the one to begin the second half put it in full control. Janique Kautsky led the surge, knocking down a pair of 3-pointers as Tulane stretched an 11-point halftime lead into a 52-26 advantage with 11 minutes, 23 seconds left to play.
