NEW ORLEANS — Members of the East Carolina defensive secondary already know what to expect.

Sure, they’ve been watching film on Louisiana, the team the Pirates are set to face in Saturday’s New Orleans Bowl, but they’ve seen this show numerous times already. The Ragin Cajuns will look to dissect an ECU pass defense that has remained vulnerable to the deep ball for most of the season.

Improvements are often measured best by those who are making them, however, and the Pirates say they’re ready for anything, even deep passes in man-on-man coverage.
