This doesn't surprise me one bit, seeing Corvonn act and speak this way. I had him as a student in Fall 2009; he was well-behaved and friendly the whole time, and has remained so ever since. Never a prima donna just because he was / is a varsity athlete. He always makes a point of speaking whenever we see each other on campus. A good ol' regular guy.
