GREENSBORO — After not shooting better than 35.5 percent from the field in its previous three games, East Carolina’s men’s basketball team finally broke the 40 percent threshold Friday at UNC Greensboro.
But better shooting might not have been the most important facet of the Pirates’ 71-62 victory.
ECU (5-4) snapped a three-game losing skid with the help of a 42.9 percent shooting night and an 18-2 second half run from which the Spartans (2-9) couldn’t recover.
