East Carolina’s men’s basketball team returns from a weeklong Christmas break tonight looking for its fourth consecutive win.

The Pirates (7-4) and N.C. Central (7-6) will meet in Minges Coliseum at 7 in a rematch of last season’s 58-50 ECU victory over the Eagles in Durham.

East Carolina’s streaky season continued with last Thursday’s 69-55 home victory over Gardner-Webb. After alternating a win and a loss to start the campaign, the Pirates have won three straight, lost three in a row and bounced back with three consecutive victories heading into tonight’s contest.
