Morrow has played a grand total of 31 minutes in ECU’s first two games and is averaging eight points and 4.5 rebounds per game. Those aren’t terrible numbers, but they’re also not on par with what was expected of the 6-foot-8, 245-pound Atlanta native heading into the season.
“I was so hyped about my senior year. I wanted everything to be perfect,” Morrow said after practice Wednesday as the Pirates prepared to host Coker tonight at 7:30 in Minges Coliseum. “I strive for perfection. Sometimes things don’t go as planned, (but) I think I’ll be able to get back on track. I’m not worried at all about it.”
