Last week, some of eastern North Carolina’s high school athletics directors pitched their realignment suggestions to members of the North Carolina High School Athletic Association realignment committee at East Carolina’s Murphy Center.

Now the athletics directors are playing the waiting game.

The NCHSAA will release another realignment draft after a Feb. 15 meeting, which will trigger another round of feedback as the realignment process inches closer to its scheduled May conclusion.
