Pitt County will be well represented during the North Carolina High School Athletic Association Swimming and Diving Championships this week.

J.H. Rose, D.H. Conley and South Central will send a combined 18 swimmers to the state competition. They earned state nods with their performances during regional action last weekend.

The meets will be held at the Triangle Aquatic Center in Cary. The 3-A meet is today, the 1-A/2-A is scheduled for Friday and the 4-A is Saturday.
