WINTERVILLE — The Pitt Community College baseball team came into Saturday’s doubleheader against Rappahannock CC looking for a spark after dropping three of four games last weekend.
Fortunately, it found it. Unfortunately, its head coach wasn’t around to see.
The Bulldogs dominated both games against the Gulls — winning 12-2 and 6-0 — without coach Tommy Eason, who missed both games after a death in the family.
