WINTERVILLE — South Central's football team got to see all the colors of Nigel Rainbow on Friday night during its game against J.H. Rose, but for the Falcons, it wasn't a pretty sight.
Rainbow rushed 25 times for 117 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Rampants to a convincing 40-13 victory at SC in a matchup of arguably the two best teams in Pitt County. By game's end, Rose (3-0) left little doubt about which team deserves that honor thus far and Rainbow was a big reason for the Rampants' 27-point victory.
When asked what was clicking for his club, JHR coach Todd Lipe replied, “Nigel Rainbow's clicking.”
