Cypress Landing is making preparations for its fourth annual Military Appreciation Day.
The event, scheduled for April 21, invites members of the military who are on active duty to play golf at the club for free. Invitations have been sent to Seymour Johnson Air Force Base in Goldsboro, Cherry Point Marine Corps Air Base in Havelock, Camp Lejeune Marine Base in Jacksonville and U.S. Coast Guard units along the coast. In addition, local Air and Army National Guard units in the area are invited to attend.
The field, however, is limited to the first 90-100 to sign up.
