Winterville breaks ground for new recreation facility

Parks and Recreation board members, Winterville aldermen and others involved in the project break ground on the Winterville Recreational Park expansion Wednesday evening.

WINTERVILLE — As Eric Lucas and his crew of aldermen dug seven shovels into the ground behind A.G. Cox Middle School on Wednesday evening, it signaled another step in a process that first began years ago.
