Golden LivingCenter in Greenville has been selected by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) to receive the government’s Five-Star rating for the overall care it provides to its patients.

Golden LivingCenter is one of a select group of nursing homes in North Carolina to receive the Five-Star distinction, which is the highest designation possible under the new CMS Five-Star Quality Rating System.

To receive the government’s Five-Star designation, nursing homes are rated on their health inspections, quality measures and staffing, with only the top 10 percent of nursing homes being eligible for the Five-Star rating.
