Ileana Rojas-Bennett and her Greenville-based Maleku Jewelry Designs was awarded the 2010 Beyond the Runway Award at the conclusion of New York Fashion Week.

A panel of four industry professionals previewed, critiqued and selected one brand from either the runway, the accessory exhibition or the Ethical Fashion Preview to receive an entrepreneurship accelerator package worth more than $50,000 to strengthen their companies through resources and services.

The award includes accounting by Ernst & Young, legal services by Orrick, a one-year profile on globalfashionbrands.com, branding consultation by MSLK, website design by Studio Light, and retail placement with LooseButton. Also awarded was a crystal trophy.
