  • JAN. 7: East Carolina University’s Lifelong Learning Program will hold a free open house from 2-4 p.m. at the Pitt County Community Schools and Recreation Center, 4561 County Home Road. “America’s Music Down to Its Roots” will be presented by Willie Nelms. Lifelong Learning Program members and others will have an opportunity to register for spring courses and events, meet program instructors, and view program partners’ exhibits and services. Sartelle’s book Her book profiles a number of businesses, including several local businesses, that have successfully incorporated faith into their workplaces.
