The College of Business at East Carolina University will offer intensive nine-day review courses to prepare individuals for the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) and the Graduate Record Examination (GRE).
The GMAT is a standardized test that helps business schools assess the qualifications of applicants for advanced study in business and management. Schools use the test as one predictor of academic performance in a master of business administration (MBA) program or in other graduate management programs.
The GMAT review course will be held from 6:30-9 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from Aug. 30 to Sept. 15. The course will cover quantitative and verbal sections. The cost, which includes a GMAT review book, is $225 on or before Aug. 23 and $240 after the deadline.
