SEPT. 14: The Small Business and Technology Center at East Carolina University offers a free seminar on how to write a business plan and the basics of starting a business from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Willis Building, 300 E. SEPT. 21: Robert Beaman of C12 Eastern Carolina will be the featured speaker at the monthly luncheon of Called2Business from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Greenville Country Club. The C12 Group is a national network of local groups comprised of Christian business owners and CEOs committed to applying Biblical principles to their plans and operations through the C12 curriculum and the facilitation of a professional chairman. Beaman, who attended East Carolina University, joined C12 in 2006 as area chairman for eastern North Carolina.
