Dr. Ron Allison, medical director and attending board-certified radiation oncologist at Carolina Radiation Medicine/21st Century Oncology in Greenville, recently delivered his clinical research findings at the Radiologic Society of North America’s (RSNA) 97th Scientific Assembly and Annual Meeting in Chicago.
More than 59,000 medical professionals attended the conference, which is the largest scientific meeting in the United States.
Allison presented results from the most extensive patient series to date on the “Current Management and Outcome in Gallbladder Cancer.” The series studied patients ages 39-87 who were treated for primary gallbladder cancer from 1995-2010.
