Five employees from Eastern Carolina Vocational Center (ECVC) recently were honored with Foundation Awards at an employee dinner at Rock Springs Center.
A new award was presented this year in honor of Morris Brody, who established the Foundation Board at ECVC. Hyman Brody attended the event and presented the Morris Brody Award for Excellence to Sonya Reaves, quality technician.
Meritorious Service Award winners were: Almanda Staton, Materials Recovery Facility (Recycling) sorter and conveyor belt tender; Sandy Dagostino, shipping supervisor; Lina Hamilton, accounts payable specialist; and, Brenda Carr, framing team leader. Robert Wilkerson, an ECVC Foundation board member, presented the awards.
