John P. Marshall, an attorney with White & Allen P.A., has been re-elected president of the board of trustees at Arendell Parrott Academy, a college preparatory day school in Kinston, for 2012.
Marshall has accepted the position of president, effective Jan. 1, for the third consecutive year. In 2009, he was elected as vice president of the board and served in that capacity for one year as a prelude to becoming president.
Parrott Academy is an independent, co-educational school enrolling students in grades transition (young 5-year-olds) and kindergarten through 12. Drawing from Lenoir County and a nine-county region surrounding Kinston, it is the largest independent school in the region.
