The Pirate Charter Chapter of the American Business Women’s Association has elected Helen Norris as the chapter’s 2012 Woman of the Year.

Norris will be entered into the American Business Women’s Top 10, which will be announced in October in Memphis, Tenn., at the National Women’s Leadership Conference.

Norris is serving as the Pirate Charter Chapter’s vice president and also chairwoman of planning programs for each of the chapter’s monthly meetings. She joined the Pirate Charter Chapter of ABWA in March.
